Have just read the response from new owners and managers, sorry but this review is not from any staff members. How disgusting they have to blame a staff member for this review. New owners and managers and very rude, this motel has gone down hill after their take over. Have removed the restaurant which had the best food and chef. Have noticed that they must have let go of most of the friendly staff they had. What a shame, it was once a perfectly ran motel . Now I will probably drive straight past to another motel . Horrible experience. The room was unhygienic (dirty sheets, hair, smelly towels) and the staff were dismissive. I was dismissed with excuses about the hotel being full or told that new rooms are only for 'lucky' guests. They refused to change my room despite the poor conditions and failed to provide the breakfast included in my corporate booking. No refunds or vouchers were offered for missing amenities. Highly recommend staying elsewhere.

Our stay here was a pleasant surprise! Room is very clean, updated and modern. Bed, bedding and all other amenities were great. We arrived late to check in but front desk reception was still open and staff super helpful and even advised me on how to get a cheaper booking! Will definitely stay here again if passing through Ballina.

In addition to the rooms being clean and very comfortable the staff here are amazing! They went above and beyond to help us out when our campervan broke down in Ballina. They gave us late checkout and allowed us to work from their restaurant all day while we waited for our van to be repaired. The location is close to the city centre which was very convenient given we didn’t have transport. The pool was nice too cool of in as well. Highly recommend!
