I was an enthusiastic traveler who stayed frequently at BW hotels here in the US and in Europe. Visiting this BW hotel at Galveston was extremely disappointing. The building and furnitures were very old.
Elizabeth was super nice. Website should reflect any work going on and it did not. Picture hanging by bed had mold and mildew in and on it. Hallway was cluttered with old exercise equipment, could be hazardous if had to exit quickly. Fitness room should not be listed as an amenity, 2 of the 4 pieces of equipment do not work. Door does not lock, the room is not maintained. I will stop with this....
We had a great time. Got no problem or complaints at all. Friendly staff and was a very convenient location. Pretty good continental breakfast. Location was right at the seawall. Pool was small but very clean and nice.
