We were staying across the street at the Wyndham and it was raining so we ran in for a quick breakfast on Saturday. We loved the entire staff and the food was so good we went back this morning for breakfast again. Such great staff, very friendly.

Came across the Comfort Diner as we were pulling our suitcases along 3rd Ave in the pouring rain. Staff were friendly and we were very grateful for a warm, dry spot to eat. The menu is huge, which always makes me a little wary (how can all this stuff be made fresh?) We ordered the Red flannel hash (corned beef, potato, onion, roast beetroot with 2 poached eggs) and the blueberry pancakes. The hash was terrible. Food is great. Service all right. Pancakes and all the traditional are delicious
Wife and I both had the grilled chicken club. Wow! It was great. Son had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and my sample of steak from his sandwich was very flavorful and juicy. Steak fries were well seasoned and plentiful. Small, quaint building, so watch for rushes and limited seating. Enjoy!
