We purchased a Goodman HVAC furnace and AC system from DIY Comfort Depot in 2017 and paid extra for the premium elite service installation with an additional warranty. On the day they installed it, they installed the wrong AC unit, a single stage instead of two stage compressor. Installers did a great job replacing my HVAC unit with the new. Only issue encountered were the ladder they initially had was too short to reach my room to install the venting for the heater so had to finish another day. When they came back they were missing a part so they had to make a run to the parts store to finish. Other issue I had was I requested they come in the morning to finish the install but ended up coming at noon so i ended up unexpectedly taking off the entire day of work rather than a half day. Edit 08/14/19 As an evidence that my review is accurate, they removed their page from Air Conditioning Professionals website. Cowards! ---------------- Terrible! Scam Company. Just go to Air Conditioning Professionals website and see the other people who reported scam to this company. I wish I did before I completed a transaction. Stay away from this company. DISHONEST COMPANY We're extremely dissatisfied with Comfort Depot/Accel company. Recently, we purchased a new air conditioner from Comfort Depot. They gave us a one-year labor warranty. The AC stopped working within the first month of operation. My husband called them, and they told him the warranty is NOT accepted because they're a different company now.
