GENERAL CONTRACTORS: DO NOT CONTACT. Absolutely disrespectful. When I called for a bid at 4:30 they said they do commercial new construction. I begin to tell them all the details about my project. The Lady then told me with an attitude that all the estimators are gone and hung up. Not very professional.
Had a horrible experience. Now keep in mind I am now working on day 3 with no A/C, I have a little one, and this is through a warranty company. Started with them sending me an automated text stating my appointment time was for 8 A.M at which my husband made accomadations to go into work late that day. I did not have a great experience, primarily because of the lack of professionalism, communication, and transparency throughout the process. The communication issues started almost immediately following the consultation. They then scheduled a technician to come to my home without confirming the appointment with me first* I called three separate times trying to speak with someone about the appointment, but each time I could only reach an AI system and was not able to speak with an actual person. UPDATE: To respond to the OWNER. No one. Not one single person ever mentioned that the replacement did not include CRITICAL components such as the copper line set. It is quite baffling that the Home Warranty company denied your alleged recommendation for updated materials but covered it when the new company requested these updates. The installation by Comfort Air was so bad the entire unit had to be replaced. Both IN and OUT. The unit was under such strain it could not be salvaged. On October 7, 2025, Comfort Air installed a new HVAC system in my home. The work was shoddy at best. They caused a small fire in my attic. My family was displaced for 2 days waiting for the smoke/smell to clear. While working on the unit an employee of Comfort Air fell through the ceiling. A repairman was sent out to make the repair to the ceiling. It was a rushed job and the 'repair' is highly visible. My main complaint is now, 7 months later, my AC unit is failing.
