I recently acquired a 100 year old riverfront cottage that Im doing a stud-off renovation of both the house and a detached three car garage. We were having significant issues with freezing pipes in our master bathroom. We had several estimates from local companies. (One wanted us to tear down several portions of drywall to insulate ... we were intimidated because we would be responsible for cutting into our garage ceiling). Comfort 1st did a very good job of adding additional insulation to our attic, foaming the basement, sealing windows and doors in our home, We were very pleased with the quality of work and the guys were great.
Great experience with them! Great work done by them. They did everything they said they would do.

If you're looking to reduce energy costs, properly ventilate your home and protect against mold, I would suggest contacting 1st Comfort for an evaluation. I dealt with Mike ******** (owner) who diagnosed a small mold issue on his initial visit and completed a thorough inspection of our home. We ended up contracting with 1st Comfort for whole attic insulation, replacement of leaking PVC pipe and addressing our ventilation problem. We were extremely pleased with Comfort 1st Insulation from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with was extremely helpful and cordial. We had insulation blown around the exterior of our basement to make it warmer. We also had a mice issue so this has kept the mice out as well. They stuffed steel wool around the exterior of the siding to prevent any more mice from entering. The install was outstanding.
