I called Comet Energy for help with my solar system. Comet Energy did not install my system, but they were willing to help me. Over the phone I talked to Bryce. Due to the dishonest company practice of the company that did install my system, I had to remove my solar panels personally for a new roof to be installed and then reinstall them, He listened to all the troubleshooting that I had already preformed on my system. Comet Energy installed permanent lighting for us. Their installers were great to work with, fast, efficient and knowledgeable. They are easy to contact if you need them. Cody has been back two more times for other things and he is so nice and has shown us some shortcuts.. He is a pure pleasure to work with. We purchased the light from another company but Comet did the install. Highly recommend them.
One star is too many stars. We had solar completed on our home in 2023 and owed nothing on it when it was complete. In October 2024–20 MONTHS—after the system was operational, the company placed a $90,000 mechanic’s lien on our property with no prior discussion or warning. This created serious financial and legal stress for my family. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing going with a different company. I will never recommend this company to anyone. In fact, quite the opposite!
We give Comet Energy top rating for all aspects of installing a solar system at our house. The office/admin and technical/installation team are highly professional and competent, and genuinely pleasant. Bryce and George were incredibly helpful in a situation that they didn’t need to, would gain nothing, yet helped SO MUCH that we just couldn’t keep this to ourselves. Definitely good people here!
