One star is too many stars. We had solar completed on our home in 2023 and owed nothing on it when it was complete. In October 2024–20 MONTHS—after the system was operational, the company placed a $90,000 mechanic’s lien on our property with no prior discussion or warning. This created serious financial and legal stress for my family. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing going with a different company. I will never recommend this company to anyone. In fact, quite the opposite!
We give Comet Energy top rating for all aspects of installing a solar system at our house. The office/admin and technical/installation team are highly professional and competent, and genuinely pleasant. Bryce and George were incredibly helpful in a situation that they didn’t need to, would gain nothing, yet helped SO MUCH that we just couldn’t keep this to ourselves. Definitely good people here!
Comet Energy was outstanding to work with from start to finish. We had them replace and upgrade a 20-year-old solar system completely off the grid. Just had our place in Clear creek backed up by a Kohler generator and 500 gal propane tank, install and all the ins and outs completed courtesy of Bryce and Michelle and their crew. After meeting Bryce some weeks earlier to take a look at what we were working with, a plan was made, equipment and materials were ordered, and a date was scheduled.
