Went in to get some coffee and finish up a few things. Three tables were open, all of which had signs prohibiting people from using a phone or opening a laptop at those tables. Asked a barista, they confirmed I would be unwelcome to sit down if I wanted to open my laptop. Left without buying anything! Maybe this increases their business, but they certainly lost mine! The coffee shop right around the corner, Lab, has great lattes and is *also* welcoming. Head to Lab instead!
What you would get with this type of hotel but there beds were amazing! The pool was super cool
I ordered a no-ice latte. They brought me one that was barely half filled. I asked for adding some more milk twice, and they gave me a splash of milk that was less than a shot glass, and said I need to buy if I want more.
After leaving Ann Arbor in 2016 Comet is still of my favorite coffee shops with one of the best lattes, anywhere.
