Fantastic Clean Fun – I love this show. I went with a bunch of friends, and even though it was clean, it was hilarious. Way better than some of the adult themed shows I've seen. See it. It's worth it.
Comedians battle out their improv skills at this interactive competition at the Chicago Center for the Performing Arts. – In Short The audience plays a huge part in this live show that tests the wits of two teams of professional comedians. Based on suggestions, the comics riff, sing and dance. The games range from karaoke with crowd members to routines exploring poets and poetry. While later shows are reserved for adult humor, the venue does occasionally offer kid-appropriate improv suited for younger attention spans.
Good Comedy!! – I was so impressed! There is so much improv in Chicago, but I went to Comedysportz for the first time and I didn't stop laughing the whole time. It's one of the best times I've had seeing an improv show. I loved how the players interacted with the audiunce, in the begginning of the show they had us all clapping and I was eating some candy instead of clapping and he called me out. It was hilarious!
Funny Stuff – I went to see a ComedySportz show last weekend and it was hillarious. The cast had me laughing so hard that I was worried I would spit beer out my nose. Luckily it didn't happen, but I will be going back for sure. ComedySportz is great, I would suggest it to anyone.
Funny for all – This show is hilarious. My wife and I were looking for something funny enough for us to enjoy and be entertaining for our 8 year old son. ComedySportz was perfect. The new space at Fizz Bar and Grill was very accommodating. I wouldn't have known that this was their temporary summer home unless I had read it on their website. It was a truly great evening.
Chicago's Best Improv – ComedySportz is hilarious and I have never seen improv so funny. The ensemble memebers are great and the shows are amazing. One thing thats great about them is that they have shows for kids, teens, and adults. There are shows for everyone so there's no reason not to check them out. If anyone is looking for hilarious improv ComedySportz is the way to go!
DELICIOUS COMEDY! – Seriously. I've seen a lot of theatre in Chicago, and a whole lot of comedy. These guys are hysterical. I've had the unfortune of seeing some other "Chicago must-sees" that personally I thought were terrible. If you want to see up and coming performers, this is the place to do it.
Excellent Show – I've been to ComedySportz several times & I have found it to be hilarious & at the same time very fit for family attendance! The originality of the writing and the accompanying musical accents make for a wonderfully laugh-filled evening. THANK YOU ComedySportz for all your efforts!
