Ended up here on a whim with local friends. I’m here on biz from Nashville. My experience was...perfection. From the quirkiness of the floor, the decor (only time gives a space that look), the ambience, the service, the food. True neighborhood restaurant. What a gem. And, yes, that pasta bolognese....😘.
I always forget how high quality everything on the menu I’ve ever tried is. It’s a hole in the wall and looks like a dive on the exterior but the interior is cozy and attractive. It can get loud. They do not skimp on the small stuff making their own house blue cheese and spicy ranch dressing. The former of which is flat out the best I’ve ever tasted. I had the bolognese pasta and steak Gorgonzola salad for dinner tonight and it was excellent! I haven’t been able to visit the restaurant yet bc I’m almost 37 weeks pregnant and on bedrest, but my husband picked up our order and said the atmosphere was really cool. The takeout service was great and the employee on the phone was super helpful with helping him pick something out that would satisfy my cravings. Lots of flavor, big portions, reasonable prices! I can’t wait to go check it out in person!

Best casual Italian I’ve ever had. Marinara’s the best in town! Staff is very warm and friendly. My only complaint - I wish it was bigger so we could come any time we want! It’s a special place.
Love the bolognese and friendly staff. When everyone at the table comes for bolognese....we can't be wrong.
