Took my date here and had one of those nights you actually remember. The setting and atmosphere are incredible — intimate, unique, a little moody, and unlike most places in Portland. Fantastic food, but the mezcal, charanda, and aguardiente selection is excellent! Apparently the PNW Agave Club meets upstairs. Food was really damn good too!
The three of us ordered 6 different cocktails and sampled each one. Drinks are fun and vibrant. Love that they have a map in their menu for sweet vs dry and boozy vs acidic. It helps when deciding what to order. The bartender was also helpful with recs and describing the drinks as well. I definitely want to come back to Comala and also try Lillia next door for dinner. We just walked in on Tuesday around 530pm and found seats at the bar. You can make online reservations. This is a cute date spot!
