A+++ family experience. We attend every year and it just keeps getting better!
We attended yesterday. Many of the animals didn’t even have water in the stalls... no shade... 97 degrees ... the stalls were filthy. The bull that was saddled for pictures was in a confined space under a covered area, no one gave him break... no telling how many hours that poor animal was made to stand in that position! Animal negligence ran rampant...we will not be attending again.

My son has been participating in the tractor pull for the last 10 years. This will be our last, due to the parking attendants. We have a parking pass issued by the fair association and they will not honor it and then they made us park as far away as possible from the tractor pull area. Forcing us to carry fuel and a battery for the tractor. The parking attendants have become so extremely rude and arrogant. I grew up in this town showing livestock, it’s a shame that they have ruined this tradition for us.
having grown upnin small town America and having been part of 4H and FFA. I was highly disappointed in the Comal County Fair. every small fair I have ever been too has the ride provider from a national firm but the concessions come from local vendors. tonswe the concessions being ran by the ride vendor and the prices they charge is beyond ignorant. I guess the fair committee is on the same page with the rest of Comal county government.....raise prices, tax above the pay grade of the residents and pander to the outside world.... read more
