This 1883 Victorian home, with its impressive white columns, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While Columns Hotel may not be the most modern of hotels, it is full of a charm that can only be found in the Big Easy. It was designed by Thomas Sully, a great architect of New Orleans. The hotel is also the only surviving building out of many that he designed.

neat Hotel with history This is not only a great Historic Hotel but also a great place to spot a celebrity. If you are going to book a room request one on one of the top floors because the hotel bar is very noisy. Overall the Columns Hotel is a neat place to at least spend one night.
A wonderful hotel bar with a New Orleans feel inside and out. Enjoy a drink under the oaks or inside in very quaintly decorated bar. Friday and Saturday night can get a little young and preppy with the students from Tulane and Loyola.
