Everyone at Columbus Springs inpatient, PHP, and IOP were great. I have been struggling with alcohol addition for over 30 years and with their programs I finally learned about the mental aspects of addiction and other ways to cope with life's situations. Again, everyone and all the staff here are great. Thanks for giving me the chance I needed.
Horrible place! They never follow through on anything. I didn’t start med till weds and I got there that sat before. When I figured out this place was a joke they wouldn’t let me leave and I checked myself in. The dr lied to me and the nursing staff is mean to visitors. I’m so glad I’m home but got completely no help.
Went for suicidal ideation and had, in general, an excellent experience. Very clean, nice facility and a therapy dog on site for those missing their dogs. Also had many different kinds of groups during the day, including pet therapy...something I have never experienced in 30 years of various inpatient stays for Bipolar disorder. Not sure what the negative complaints are about.
This place seems to try to help their patients but have been very rude to them at times as well. They especially treat visitors rudely. They make you wait 10 - 15 minutes after visiting starts before taking you back and then takes 10 more minutes to get through all the locked doors and then sign in a second time before you even get to who you came to see, so you only have just over an hour to visit and you already lost 20 minute of that to get to them but as soon as the clock turns visiting hours are over your ass is out o... read more
Very disappointed with the mental health service section of this facility. My 65 year old sister is being kicked out tomorrow because her insurance will only pay for 10 days. Understandable, but we were told by faculty that there would be a family meeting that would be held to discuss plans before she would be released. She is still VERY unstable even according to her counselor and can not go back to her home due to bad circumstances. Horrible place be warned don't go there. Not a caring place. Have no idea what they are doing. Run away as fast as you can.
I spent five days inpatient and then entered the outpatient PHP program after a med change I went down hill pretty fast anyone could see the desperate state I was in. They kept sending me for 10 minute one on one talks since I wouldn't stop crying all the time I'm pretty sure I told anyone that would listen that I had thoughts of suicide but every time thy just sent me away one lady even told me to "pull myself up by my boot straps" and go home and pet my cats. I give this place 5 stars because I am bi polar and was very depressed and also have PTSD the staff and nurses were all helpful at every time I needed and I enjoyed the people who helped me become a better person
Tried to get ahold of them on a Friday and then again on Monday. Heard nothing from them. If in crisis don't call them!!! Terrible
