Columbus Handyman did a fantastic job fixing the cupola on the roof and cleaning the gutters. They couldn’t have been more professional, courteous, conscientious and wonderful to work with. Most importantly, their clean up at job completion left the area exactly how it was before they started the job. Couldn’t be happier and will use them again for many jobs around the house! -Jackie
Do not trust them. Fliooring they took all my things upstairs and down stairs and moved them or dismanteled them and did not move them back. There is a door propped up upstairs, I was able to move upstairs back and will hire someone else to put the door back on. They dismanteled a 395 dollar hanging glass lamp and parked it on top of my refrigerator. I will have to hire an electrician to put it back on I am lugging carpets they dumped on my couch. When this project was bid the house was empty. When flooring was installed yes items needed moved, but they were put back. As for a hanging glass lamp, we had no reason to touch anything that was hanging and this comment is not true. $865 was for extras that she thought should be included but were never discussed during bidding and our contract states if it isnt written it is not included. We own a two-unit rental property. The bathroom drains on both sides needed attention (sluggish) and the tub faucets at one unit seemed to be installed incorrectly. I had purchased the exact replacement to make this go as smoothly as possible. "Bun" arrived with tools on hand that would electrically snake the drains. He looked at the drains, said he could do it with pliers (yuck!), disassembled the drains and made adjustments as necessary. We got to the unit with the faucet problem. I am a long term (about 20 years) client of Columbus Handyman. I have always found them to be prompt, effective and skilled. I have used them for various small projects - new toilet installation, new porch steps, handrail for porch, various small plumbing issues. I am currently in the middle of a BIG project - kitchen remodel and mudroom/bath addition. It's going well. The supervisor has been good about communicating with me and being responsive to my concerns and questions. I'm looking forward to a great end result.
From the estimate to the workmanship I was impressed with the level of professionalism and attention to detail. Grant was amazing, responded quickly to questions, and the tile installation was so artistic and beautifully installed that I was thrilled with the end product.
We have used Columbus Handyman for about 9 years and never been disappointed in their quality or service. The work has been both major- a bathroom and family room renovation as well as minor repairs which were needed.
