Went to get some outing suggestions. The lady working the desk was very friendly and helpful. They have a downtown walking passport called Sally Salamander you can use to document your walk through the city. FYI, this visitor center does not have public restrooms.
The representative there the day we went was Angie. She was excellent. She told us about so many things going on in Columbia and the surrounding areas. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Gave us great info about sites and activities going on while we were in town. Directed us to nearby sites like the a free concert at Finlay Park and the state house tours and sites. I stopped in to look for some souvenirs for my kids and absolutely hit the jackpot with Sharon! She was so helpful and a wealth of fun local knowledge! I definitely recommend stopping in and chatting a bit with staff to help uncover the hidden gems of Columbia!
Great spot for all the info! Ms. Sharon was so sweet to share with us all the places to visit and check out, we enjoyed her love of the city! Cute shop for local made items as well
The sweetest lady was working today when I stopped in to buy a few postcards. She was the most helpful person and gave us so many recommendations on places to go and things to do and see. She also helped us with places to take our dog.
