My husband and I make the trip to Columbia at least twice a month just to come here. They have an amazing selection of fish and gorgeous Plecos! Plus the employees are super helpful and welcoming. These are just some of my favorites I've gotten from Columbia Pet Center, not to mention them helping me get started on planted tanks that have taken off! And they are the only place I've found within 45 minutes driving distance that sells live black worms. I would highly recommend them.
The staff is really knowledgeable but gives info in language I can understand. It's obvious they all love their jobs and love animals.

I go to Columbia Pet Center for all my Saltwater and Freshwater aquarium needs. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. They are hands down the best pet store in Columbia. If they don't have it in store, they can order it!

This is the best place in Columbia to find HAMSTERS and HAMSTER ITEMS. It has knowledgeable, helpful staff. The prices are better than the other local stores and are comparable to online shopping. The price on their high end dog food Is good too.
This store is by far the best pet store in Columbia, the staff are polite and helpful, the animals there are all much healthier than at petco or pet smart. On top of all of that, there staff is ten to twenty times more knowledgeable than any other pet store. I’m always able to get really good advice on all things fish related! They are truly a gem in Columbia!
I have purchased fish, frogs, a hamster, and a snake from CPC. Their staff is very knowledgeable and their pets are so much healthier than the ones I’ve purchased in other stores. They’re also the only place around that sells live mice for your snakes! I highly recommend them.
