RecommendedI highly recommend. My family go every week. Love the selection and knowledge thats available. At home I have 4 planted aquariums and one vivarium, all doing great because of the expertise shared here.
We went to the pet store to get rats because petco was totally out. First the lady that helped us was entirely unhelpful and rude. I asked if she gave me two of the same sex and she said yes I gave you two males.. well once we got home and after they got a bit bigger we found out we have a male and a female. 😡 yes it’s my fault that I didn’t double check but you would think that the worker wouldn’t have lied and would have known what she is talking about. I have bought feeder mice from here first batch I bought 8 and I was able to feed them all. I went back and bought 12 the next time. Of that bunch I was able to feed 6 and the rest died on me. I though ok this was just a batch that were too young so bought another batch of 11 I was able to feed 3 of these and the rest died on me. Called and they didn’t seem to care just stated store policy that they don’t guarantee the feeder mice. I would give zero stars if I could. Jeeeeeeeeesus you guys the conditions their budgies & finches living in :(((( i would have said something in person but I wouldn't have been able to without crying! Their cages, toys, and perches are filthy, water murky, millet and toys laying on the floor of the dirty cage; And speaking of toys, those one or two in each cage covered in poop and grime are the only ones they have; These birds are living in sadder conditions than those from big stores like petsmart/petco, and that's saying s... read more
I finally decided to make a little road trip from KC to check this place out. Well, worth the trip. Friendly staff, good selection and affordable prices. They went out of their way to help me out. I see more road trips, in the future. 😃
Staff are extremely helpful. I have had 0 issues with the fish. i recently picked up a couple small peacock cichlids, one OB that is a "Rock Star".
We had a happy healthy 50 gallon tank with a small handful of thriving fish in it, and then for our oldest son’s 9th bday we took him to get more fish for his tank (fish are his favorite animals, btw)... within the first 48hrs two of the new fish had died, then another the next day, then another, and another, the last two died a day later... and then our fish all started dying. I bought a butter enchi ball python and all of the things I needed for his home this weekend. The woman that helped me was very knowledgeable. She walked my boyfriend and I around the store and helped us find exactly what we needed. She was very knowledgeable, which was extremely helpful because I am a first time snake owner. They also have very reasonable prices. I will definitely be coming back often!
