Dr Shah performed my hip surgery. My experience from the initial consult, to surgery to post surgery appointments was great. The entire process was well organized and the team took time to answer and questions and concerns I had.
Having x-ray and consultation at this site is vastly more convenient than dealing with Columbia Presbyterian uptown. As for Dr. Shah and his staff, they have been impeccable, knowledgeable and approachable. This is my second knee replacement performed by Dr. Shah and I recommend him without reservation.
Had a terrible experience with Prachi Bakarania. I had an injury that involved my upper body, and during the visit, she told me to take off my top while there were other male patients in the same room. I was shocked and asked her “here?”, and then she proceeded to close off some curtains so I got to do it privately. But at the end of the visit she told me that she wont be able to do that next time and I will have to expect to take off my top in front of whoever will be in the room.
