Never been treated so unprofessionally. I called before my appointment time to let them know I would be 5 minutes late because the Division exit was stalled. Was told on the phone, "I will have to ask if they can still see you then". I show up after taking the day off of work, having fasted and have all paperwork complete. I was 8 minutes late and they told me they will not be able to see me because I was late but wanted my insurance card to bill them for the appointmnet. I've had the same physician for 6 years. Dr. Consiglio moved there a few weeks ago, and I was informed that she is now booked up and won't take me as a "new" patient. I have no one to prescribe my medications tht knows my situation. This really sucks. I'm very disappointed after all these years.
I've never been treated more badly by staff at a medical facility than I have been with every single branch of Columbia Medical Associates. It's not just this office, it's every single one of their offices. However right now I'm very sick I need to see a doctor likely forantibiotics. Their policies are only about greed and not about helping people. It's devastating to find out that I've been dismissed by the practice simply because I owe them a little bit of money.
