My mother resides in Columbia Cottage. My mother attends activities, has made new friends, interacts with the caring staff. My mother was at another facility prior and then moved to Columbia Cottage. The resident census is low with staff know and truly care for their residents. I'm comfortable with my mother residing here. This facility is like no other ALF. This community is a hidden treasure! It is a small homelike setting with welcoming residents and staff. The staff is a team of amazing professionals ready to handle any resident care needs! Highly recommend as an assisted living option.
Staff was super friendly and helpful while I was addressing some mobility and support needs.
Very nice place the residents are amazing but If you work through agency it’s horrible there staff is horrible and they are liars they made up lies saying I didn’t provide care to residents. Also lying saying I was being unprofessional when there staff was going out back to smoke black and milds and she was a med tech. They give like a very staff vs agency vibe .
Nurses do NOT work here! This place doesn't have an actual laundry/house keeping department. 🙄 This is why nobody stays on night shift. They make the 1 nurse on night shift do 13-15 loads of laundry at night plus pass medications on top of all of that. The laundry room is not even a usual facility washing machine. It's a regular old 1994 washing machine that smells like mildew, (and 2 of the washing machines barely work, and the dryers don't get the clothes completely dried even).
