Nurses do NOT work here! This place doesn't have an actual laundry/house keeping department. 🙄 This is why nobody stays on night shift. They make the 1 nurse on night shift do 13-15 loads of laundry at night plus pass medications on top of all of that. The laundry room is not even a usual facility washing machine. It's a regular old 1994 washing machine that smells like mildew, (and 2 of the washing machines barely work, and the dryers don't get the clothes completely dried even). My mother lives in Columbia Cottage, she is happy here. The care takers are wonderful! They make my mom feel special and they are very pleasant. Since it is a smaller community she does not feel overwhelmed getting around. It is clean and they do offer daily activities. My mind is at ease knowing how well my mom is looked after.
Columbia Cottage in Collegeville has been just what we needed! The caring team has gone above and beyond to make our transition a pleasurable experience. Columbia Cottage is not one of those large senior living facilities that after you move in you feel like you have become just another number. The advantages of being in a smaller community shows in the little things that go a long way to make living here like living at home! The compassion and level of care has exceeded our expectations! Columbia Cottage is the BEST around!
Best Assisted Living Community in the Collegeville and around. The community is beautiful, very well maintained. Maggie, Managing Director, she is lovely and goes above and beyond to make each resident feel comfortable, like they are in their home. Caregiver to Residents ratio is excellent, they offer meaningful activities to help residents socialize and stay mentally and physically active.
UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT! No longer patient centered care, instead focused on making money and being untruthful to fill rooms.
