We had a great experience with Columbia Birth Center’s facility and staff. We welcomed our 3rd baby into the world, and Jen Pia did an amazing job balancing being supportive, knowledgeable, supporting my husband as my birth partner and also giving us our space when needed. This was my smoothest delivery yet, but I felt confident that Jen was ready to intervene had it been necessary. I cannot recommend this place enough! Specifically Midewife Jen Pia and Assistant Sierra, my birth was a DREAM. they made me feel so confident and capable and I was empowered. this was my second birth (first one was induced hospital experience ) and not what I wanted and this time around it was beautiful because of these women at this birth center. They let me birth how I wanted and I felt safe. the post partum care is reason enough to come here. they CARE. I was checked up on often and they came to our home after 24 hours t... read more

I chose not to have a hospital birth because I wanted more control over my experience, and CBC provided exactly that. The midwives are deeply committed to informed consent, ensuring t... read more

My birth was a dream. As someone who wanted to do Homebirth, but be close to a hospital since this was my first, this was the perfect middle of the road. I arrived at the Birth Center at 9 cm dilated. My water broke shortly after and my husband and I ran the show and were really supported by the midwives. My husband was able to deliver the baby. And our Birth was exactly how we wanted it. I’m so thankful that this is available in the Tri-Cities and that I had the opportunity to have the birth that we planned for. It was perf... read more
