I was a first time client of Alana. I requested a blonde balayage and provided several pictures. First, my hair came out ash gray blonde. She admitted it was nothing like the pictures and told me I could come back for her to fix it. I did, and the second time my hair was brown. I paid her the full $485 at the first appointment. She refused to give me a refund, not even partial. I cried all the way home because my hair was a mess and I couldn’t get it corrected for at least 6 weeks. Back like a fly that cannot die. Alana hoyos stole a check from my friend. She lied and said they were related (they aren’t) and the check went through. She argued with the Fred co sheriff’s office and my friend still does not have the amount back. Check her name on the MD case search. Very surprised my friend has a family member she has never met. Beware if you use your card or a check to pay for services by someone who is being charged with a felony!

I have naturally curly hair and I went to Alyvia for the Magic Sleek treatment. My friend with similar hair texture as me got a Magic Sleek at a different salon in the area and her hair was perfectly straight when she just let it air dry. I've been going to Alana for a couple years now and I always love the result! We do highlights and cut. Alana is a great hairstylist and colorist. I have curly hair and she is the only stylist I've had where I can leave with my hair curly and it doesn't look like a huge fluff ball later. She's also really good at blowing it into a smooth style.
