We're heading for the Upper Colorado tomorrow. Having a wonderful time in the Rockies.
Our family did the zipline and Intermediate Raft trip July 7th and it was fantastic. Had a superb time, the food was great and staff friendly and funny. Kudos to Ryan for the raft trip guiding and Claire and Joel and Brie for the ziplining.
Had an awesome time with them. They were very accommodating with our group of 9 people. Our guide Mackenzie was awesome. She navigated the water superbly and kept things light and funny in the raft. We went on the half day beginner trip and it was just enough to get a little bit of a workout and get wet. We all had a blast. Thanks for the great time.
Jill, our guide, was amazing. Toured the Rocky Mountains along Trail Ridge Road. Stopped along the way to take photos of scenic views. Along the way Jill gave us the history of various points. Thank you for a great day!!!
Decided to treat myself to a birthday peak ascent and since I had used Colorado Wilderness Rides & Guides for past adventures, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Alex was my guide once again, and the day prior to my ascent we had a wonderful hike where we practiced skills training on the use of crampons, ice axe and self-arrest techniques. The next day we had a pre-dawn departure and Alex navigated our way toward South Arapaho Peak by compass.
