I want to say thank you to the Nurse practitioner Dee Higgins. Who went above her call of duty. Was in for my annual. Blood pressure was extremely high. Not only did she get it under control but the concern she had for me was amazing. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and it's not just a job. So thank you Ms. Dee Higgins.
Staff member who answered the phone was very rude. Not helpful at all and used demeaning words, making me feel like I was stupid.
I've never been in treatment before. That being said, this has got to be the worst run place. You wait an average of 60 to 90 minutes. There are always excuses. I haven't seen my counselor in over 2 months. People are forced to choose between a job and their treatment. When stating you have to work, the response is "it's your treatment" When taking pills is quicker and easier why stay in treatment? These people don't care about the patients. This place used to be decent. This morning was awful though. I got there about 5am, waited outside for half an hour. Then about 535 they opened the doors and let most of us in. Everyone stood in line for about an hour while they tried figuring out their computer systems. I come in once a month to get my meds, and everytime I come in, the whole staff is changed.
