We were just there for graduation and it was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! It's a beautiful campus, friendly people everywhere, easy to get around. Our daughter had an amazing two years there and is proud to call CSU her Alma Mater!!
I was at CSU on 12/15/17 and 12/16/17 for graduation brunch and graduation ceremony respectively. I do love the gorgeous environment, the people are very nice and there are lots of beautiful places that one could visit for fun.
On Oct. 3rd. I and my dog, Pumpkin, knew it was time for her to cross the bridge. Though my gut told me she was nearing the end, I wanted to do everything I could for her. However, it was time as she told me in her ways. It is never easy making these life and death decisions but the context is always what is best for your friend. Beautiful walkable campus. My husband is getting an MS in IT Management online and we happened to be in Estes for vacation. We took the beautiful hour drive to walk campus and thought the campus was easy to navigate, beautiful stadium, people were friendly and the bookstore had stuff for everyone. We enjoyed our experience and agreed it would be a nice place to live and get an undergrad degree.
I recently returned home to Atlanta from CSU this past Sunday from an official college visit with my son whom is being recruited to play as a Rams cornerback for this coming up season. This was my first visit to Colorado, and I must say that I was very impressed! The city, staff and facilities more than exceeded my expectations! My husband ran track and XC on a scholarship back in the early '60s at CSU. In the Autumn of 1961, when CSU was C A&M, he took the "Aggie Baggie" training that helped mold him into the fine man that I now know. I also have Colorado relatives who either graduated from CSU or worked at CSU. It holds a special place in my heart because of the above.
They give military a hard time. Terrible school. My son is a resident of Colorado and you are giving him a hard time due to his time in the Marine Corp out of state. He graduated from HS here and maintained CO as his state of residency on his LES. You don't illegal aliens this hard a time and my son was in for 5 years. Just got out less than 6 months ago.
