The experience I have had so far with this housing authority has been anything short of awful. They are rude and unhelpful. The third party company Nan McKay that they hired is horrible. My caseworker Marisha Corn is impossible to get a hold of and when I call the provided customer service number they do not offer any assistance and are very rude and uncaring. Something needs to be done about the inexperienced staff that have worked there for years. I was denied by mistake and instead of correcting it she ignored me until a supervisor got involved. The supervisor put me back on then started ignoring me as well. The had me resubmit paper work 3 times for no reason so I just gave up, accepted my situation and I'm still homeless 16 months after initially applying
UNFAIRNESS IS SHOWN IN THIS COUNTY OF CS HOUSING... This office has people looking for HOMES in certain areas only due to the amount for vouchers, giving as underbuget and certain low incomes in limited for people to find a good home in good areas in colorado springs..PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT!!
I have almost the exact same issue as Mrs. Blessed who has 5 children and living in a shelter. Except in my case I'm a grandma with 2 small children and homeless. I turned everything in and then was denied because I was told I didn't submit documents on time. I have emailed several people there and only one has responded so far. I am disabled, I have 5 kids and am currently living in the homeless shelter. I was selected a few months ago. I was told to submit all documents through email. When I did, I was told that the documents can’t be scanned by Janice. I then went to the library, went down the checklist and printed every copy that was listed on the paper.
