If you want a Jeep for trails, this is the place to go! We came to Pagosa Springs in June 2020, our 4th time to the area within a year. My wife and I with our 2 kids drove up in a RAM 3500 from Texas but needed a smaller and smoother ride to do trails. We rented 2 different Jeeps, the first was the Gray Jeep. We went to Piedra Falls and then took USFS 661 and 634 around the base of Pagosa Peak. Afterwards we went to 8 mile peak! We returned our Jeep the next day and continued our journey to Gunnison. Rented a Jeep for the day. Awesome experience! John was great and told us about the trails to go on. Had a great time!
We had an amazing trip! Saw lots of mule deer and hundreds of elk. Would do it all over again! Only issue was I lost my phone and all my pics!
Great time! John was super helpfully with helping pick our trail. Looking forward to our next rental.
