Recommended5 Stars Always a great experience, they are great with finding your insurance benefits and letting you know about teats that can be administered or need to be if something is wrong. Dr. Wiarda is incredibly knowledgeable in his field, and answers your questions honestly, even about Lasik options. They care about their patients. The beginning test is like a video game, and they got rid of the air-puff-into-your-eye machine. Your eyes are the only thing that doesn't grow over your life, vision is important. Highly suggest.
The staff here is all so wonderful! I took my son in for his first eye exam & they were so amazing with handling him and his first time nerves. They were also upfront & knowledgeable about what my insurance covered. I highly recommend coming here for all of your optometry needs!
Best optometry place I've been. I've moved around quite a bit, and been to a lot of optometrists. I didn't realize the level of professionalism and attention I was missing until now! This is my third visit in as many years, and I'm still impressed. The doctor took detailed notes of my previous visits, and followed up on several questions and slight concerns I had. He also explained, in simple ways, what he was seeing on the pictures of my eyes. Overall I felt very taken-care-of by competent people!
Doctor Wiarda is an amazing optometrist who truly cares about each of his patients. I would highly recommend his expertise as I am confident he offers the best service in Fort Collins.
They have taken extreme good care of me and made sure the script was perfect for me. Best set of glasses both regular and sun that I've ever owned.

In fact, they exceeded my expectations every step of the way. I needed new lenses, frames and sunglasses. Looks like I've found a new eye doctor. I have a contact prescription that requires many different fittings and checks. Dr. Wiarda was very patient throughout the whole process and took the time to explain what he was trying to achieve with my eyes and how he was going about getting me the best eye sight possible. I can now see better than I have in the last few years! I didn't know what I was not seeing.
