If your insurance covers 100% annual visit, CEI does not include a contact prescription. They will charge you an out of pocket expense of $150.00 for first time contact users or $75.00 for just the prescription. They do not accept a specialist co-pay for contact prescription. I wish I had known this upfront. I would have gone to an eye doctor that included contact prescription in the annual visit. All previous annual eye exams with other doctors did. I'm very disappointed.
This was an amazing visit! Dr. Kaminsky was very professional and very good at what he does! In the past, people have had a hard time finding my eye prescription but not only did he find it, he found it quickly! Amazing front desk staff too!
The doctors may be great, but we’ll never know. After explaining in great detail that I was looking for specialty myopic contact lenses for my son, we were scheduled 8 weeks out only to be told (after more than an hour back and forth on the phone this morning) that they don’t do these kinds of lenses. So much wasted time and now my son will have to wait another 6 weeks to get in with a different ophthalmologist in Colorado Springs.
