I recently had surgery and Dr. James Stephen went above and beyond, from the office visits, during my surgery, to the first and last post op visit. He is incredibly smart, talented and compassionate. Margaret and Elizabeth were also second to none. They handled my every question and every need. Thank you to all three of you for the exceptional care and services you all provided for me.
6 weeks post surgery with Dr. Elliott, and I am doing fantastic! I have increased range of motion in my neck, very minimal pain and numbness is diminishing. Dr. Elliott’s office staff is well organized with everything needed for a smooth surgical experience lined up at the time of scheduling. I just had MVD for left sided hemifacial spasms. Dr. Elliot has changed my life immensely for the better. To wake up spasm free after constant spams for 2 years has been an emotional and overwhelming feeling of gratitude. I would definitely recommend Dr. Elliot if you or someone you know are suffering from hemifacial spasms.
I had MVD surgery on Dec. 13th for HFS, hemifacial spasm, with Dr. J. Paul Elliot. After suffering for over 7 years, I found the courage for surgery, knowing there was a chance of it not being successful. I had one little flutter the the first day in recovery & haven't had a spasm since. I feel like I got my life back & wish I had done it so much sooner. Thank you Dr. Elliott for your expertise & compassion.
Great experience..if you can have one with ... a complex c2-t1 decompression and fusion (I Guess complex)...super high fives to Dr. Rubin...Kelly Dooley..and Ashley...I'm not a big med guy...but if you are in pain...please give them a call
Recently had a baclofen pump put in to manage my spasms in legs, stomach and back. Dr. Benjamin Rubin was the one who placed it and it has been life changing for me. I no longer struggle with simple daily tasks because of spasms. Extremely happy with the pump and the great care my Doctor and staff have provided.😀

With that said, I would like to thank Dr. Benjamin Rubin for his professionalism, post-surgical bedside support, surgical explanations and being just a generally good guy. In regards to the staff of CBSI, they were proactive providing the necessary documentation and surgical authorization, mandatory testing/imaging and maintaining communication regarding the firm date of surgery.
