My family and I really enjoyed our stay at The Colony. The room was very clean and comfortable. The check in process was really easy. The condo staff seemed very meticulous about keeping the grounds/pool area clean. We will definitely stay at The Colony on our next trip to Virginia Beach!
Two things I despise, people playing with my family and people playing with my money. This company did both. First they cut our family vacation short and blamed it on Expedia…then they charged my card until there was only 9.25 left on there…THOUSANDSSSSS OF DOLLARS! They also blamed that on Expedia, except all the charges came from them and Expedia never once had my card info. They were the only ones with my card info. Management is a wreck, overbooked their rooms and made us switch 1/2 through our trip. Changed the locks on our doors and forgot to give us a key…. Pool is filthy as are most of the rooms. Shining bright spot is the security team, they’re fantastic. Avoid at all costs, which is saying something at VA beach
Stayed here with my fiancés family for a quick trip to VA Beach. The biggest problem we had was the management made us switch rooms because we came Thursday and left on Sunday and apparently they over booked and were not strategic about what rooms they promised which folks for those weeks. Instead of someone else moving into another unit we had to move for less than 24 hours. The changeover was slow, we got locked out of our room prior to switching rooms because the locksmith locked us out while repairing a lock. The units a... read more
