we stayed in 2 rooms and there was minimal service provided. we were charged $75 excessive cleaning fee with no proof and the rooms were not left a mess at all! expect an extra $75 charge if you stay here. it seems to be automatic to every room. The only good thing about this place is the location.
We needed a weekend only stay in SIC for our son's surprise engagement celebration, and the Colonnade offered a perfect option. Great location (short walk to bars) and price. Well kept with quirky decor - it reminded me of the places I stayed in OC with my parents as a kid. Quiet and low-key, it's a great option if you don't want to overpay for noisy hotels in Avalon/Stone Harbor or end up off island.
2nd visit here for my wife & I. Had a suite on 1st visit -booked smaller room for a 3 day stay early June26. Wow - more like a closet; but managed. Needed to move bed from wall to get in-- very dirty! Hair, dust and food crumbs were an unpleasant surprise. Bathroom vanity under sink also dirty along with a filthy hair dryer & hair on bathroom floor. Finally, dried ice cream on the dining table. My wife and I booked a suite at the Colonnade Inn in January for a family trip to Sea Isle this summer. We paid a $425.68 deposit for the room. My wife received an email last week that our reservation had been cancelled. She reached out to the Colonnade Inn and was told, “We regret to inform you that your reservation payment did not transfer to our new reservation system.
