After 3 years of well documented AC failure, we are being charged $2,500 to terminate our lease. When the temperature is over 85 outside, the house can only cool 10 degrees. If it is 90 outside, it is 80 inside. Their solution last summer was for us to use their emergency AC unit with our house AC, this ended up adding $100 dollars a month to our power bill. I am a travel nurse working at Duke University! This is the worst place that I have ever lived!! The apartments are old and very humid!! Appliances are from the 70’s. Big black ants are crawling all over inside my apartment. My car was towed last night to the most unsafe place out in the middle of nowhere. My parking decal fell out of my window, so my car was towed. Had to pay 185.00 + 30.00 cab fee to get to the creepy place where my car was towed. Not a good place to live if You’re a single, older lady!!!
