I called and verified before making a 2 hour drive that they would be able to do a person to person transfer. After making my 2 hour drive, the young lady behind the counter took the purchaser's ID, had him start on a background check and had me fill out paperwork. It wasn't until after the background check had come back approved were we told there was nobody on staff that was able to intake my firearm into their inventory to complete the transfer. DO NOT RECOMMEND - HIGHLY DISCRIMINATORY. We visited Colonial today (having been in the past few months) and they have changed their policy and will not let patrons in without masks. They are not abiding by the Governor's Executive Order, as I was turned away after speaking with both a staff member and the manager in charge and disclosing that I have a medical condition (for which I have a prescription) which exempts me from being required to wear a mask and is covered under page 3, item 6 of the order. great experience, but the staff is super un organized
Would highly discourage anyone from going here. although their range is very nice their customer service, and staff was rude and demanding when telling customers about their protocol.
Yesterday was my third visit to Colonial & all have been 5 star experiences. First visit was a class & instructor (Reese) was amazing. Second visit was to the range & the facility was well run with helpful range safety officers. Yesterday, my sister & I went to the range & again excellent range safety officers keeping everyone safe & offering helpful advice. Front counter staff was friendly & welcoming.
