Terrible company to try and work for! Never again will I fall for the hype of this company. There was terrible communication, lack of support and no structure to the onboarding process. They pretty much left me in the dark. I had to constantly be the one to reach out to my “district general manager” on trying to squeeze me into his schedule, if not I would never hear from him. They are tricking people.... People thinking they are going to get insurance for 9.95 per month... That's bull... You are only going to get that rate if you are a child... Insurance is based on age and health... When they are talking about $9.95... it is $9.95 cents per unit... Please stop tricking folks Colonial Penn.
DO NOT waste your money. After six years I paid and it became a law and paper game when I needed it most.
Highly recommend no one use this insurance, don’t know how these people are still open. Hard to find anywhere that accepts the insurance. Also if there ever is a issue (witch there will be) the customer service is so bad don’t expect anything to be done in a timely manner
It’s very sad our company moved from AFLAC to this company, AFLAC actually pays you in 2 weeks or 3 the max , with this company I been out of work since Nov 11 and still waiting, then this are the worst months of the year to be without an income, definitely going to cancel this insurance when I go back to work, because this is way too difficult when it comes to a claim . Edited my review because they did paid me , took time and for continuing disability took more than with our previous company, but they deserve a better rate... read more
