Casual, comfortable This place is a warren of rooms and walk up only. The carpet on the stairs is worn and even torn in one place. BUT....for $99/night(!) the rooms while tiny are clean, bright, fluffy down comforters, quiet. A bit short on storage,but adequate for a short stay.
