It's got issues that is true. We’ve lived here for a few years now and it has issues maintience is the biggest one they don’t have consistent people to fix things and it takes a long time to get things fixed and there is no pet care and the laundry room has been out of service for serval months and when it was open the equipment didn’t work properly.. yes the rent is okay but in some ways it’s almost nt worth it.and it’s out dated the electrical is old not modern at all. New Castle Apts I have lived here for some years now and it is perfect for me and my children. I am a single mom and can't afford an expensive place. I haven't had no big issues. It does take maintenance a little time to get to you but usually it is the next day or two. I really like my neighbors and no one is in your business. There has been a change over in the office quite a bit but hasn't effected me none. It is a quiet neighborhood. Wish there could be an update in the apartments but you get what you pay for.

Terrible! Im gonna make this plain and simple. Terrible Landlord. Terrible Maintenance. Roaches, centipedes.. broken shower that sounds like constructions site and spits out water, unbalanced cabinents, leaking water.. air and heat keep breaking, toilet is broken. ONCE AGAIN. TERRIBLE LANDLORD AND MAINTENANCE. Arent there when you need them and they dont solve nothing!
Subpar As a college student and this being my very first apartment, overall it was a learning experience and also meeting the minimum requirements of typical living standards. I have lived in this neighborhood since May 2012. The very first day we moved there the faucet in the bath tub immediately shot off and to the other side of the tub while the AJAX they used to clean the bathroom right before we moved in came out a long with the water. Horrible. Great location if you are attending Virginia State University. Apartments needs to be upgraded, the amount of money is not worth the headache. Nothing works and everything is old. Maintenance took forever to fix things. Call on a Monday, item will not get fixed until Friday or the following week. The turn around for the front office staff is terrible, so you run into too many people telling you different things.
