Colonial Gables is the perfect getaway right on the ocean. Beautiful, well kept rooms and cottages.everything is well kept. Rooms and cottages are clean and cozy.Staff is friendly and do everything they can to make your stay truly wonderful. Oh and the ocean view is unforgettable.
Great place
Sadly, when we checked in on Friday night, there were cockroaches (plural) in the bathroom. It was our first time staying in the cottages, we had stayed in the motel previously, several times. I am sad because we really did enjoy it before, but left quickly, had to shake out all of our belongings and make a quick reservation elsewhere. Staff did refund our stay, but this is unacceptable.
Our cottage exceeded our expectations and the laid back atmosphere of the resort was a yuuuuge bonus. Pet friendly, people friendly experience. Very satisfied.
