Aspen itself is a little lackluster when it comes to customers and their employees. They operate hundreds of properties but only have two maintenance guys, but the one maintenance guy is amazing. He is super patient despite the work conditions he is forced to work for, but he tries to be as efficient as possible. I had a false monoxide alarm go off and he called within minutes of submitting the request. If I could score this at a zero, I would. This complex has drainage issues causing mold in the building which they have covered over with new ceiling tiles and paint. The vent from the laundry room vents just outside the apartment windows, The windows are in disrepair, the furnaces don't get cleaned, mold under the sink in the kitchen, sidewalks are severely cracked and heaved making walking dangerous, no lighting on the building to navigate said walkways / stairs in the evening. These apartments are horrible! They were owned by Aspen management. Aspen had someone come in and put on new roofs about June 2018. The company did metal roofs on some of the buildings. In Jan 2019 we got notice that in our attics and ceilings there was mold. From what we were told the metal roofs were not properly ventilated. We had to 2 days notice to evacuate because of the matter. They did give us per diem to live on but it was low. They told us we would be gone and week.
