I thought that rikisha would uphold her promise to never throw me to the street but that failed I had felt so secure and grateful for a roof over my head and was crying when I was kicked out. Asked her if she was happy and she said "yes!" as I was being taken out on the ambulance stretcher and not allowed to come back. I don't have anything else negative to say but that statement and broken promise really hurt to the core. I am a current resident at Oasis Assisted Living and 4 months ago I left a bad review only because I was upset and felt like no one cared about me. After being here for this long I grew to love this place. The Admin team is always available to listen to my problems and help when they can. The nursing team came along away and everyone here is just amazing. I'm glad I found this place because when no one wanted me Oasis did. With the challenges this building faces it takes a lot to be able to stand and withhold. The residents are physically and mentally challenged as you can see. Witnessing what some of the staff have to put up with is tough. I understand that that’s the residents home but they also hold a responsibility of the upkeep of their lives as well. Some of the residents are pure hateful and it shows. I often visit the community and yes from observation if the staff had more support the community can be much better. I am a current resident at Oasis Assisted Living and I have been here only a month and a half and my time here has been miserable the administrator that runs the building likes to scream at people and treat people as a dough were beneath her the rent is not worth what you're paying for this place is full of fleas ants and roaches I read all all the reviews and I wish I had listened to 90% of them that said this place is a bad place and it said it's not worth the money you pay if you give one single care about the family memb... read more
