I had a unplanned last minute surgery and I could not have asked for a better experience.
Overall bad experience with this surgeon and procedure. Surgery, a very common one, had some complications. Worst experience was This doctors poor attitude, poor “bedside manner”, lack of empathy towards the patient, etc. I do not recommend, unless his skills and level of compassion and sympathy for his patients have improved since my experience.
Dr. Colomb and his staff are awesome! From the first day I went there as a patient, I was treated as a person who had many questions, was scared and surely did not know what was going to happen to me because my test came back abnormal. By the time I left the office, my questions had been answered, my fears put to rest and I at least knew what the next step was going to be. I now look forward to my visits there because my friends are there and I know I will find smiles everywhere!!
Dr Colomb is a great surgeon that I would recommend to anyone, I had major surgery and thankfully he was able to do it laparscopically which makes a shorter recovery time. While in the hospital, he came in everyday to check on me and my progress in recovering. He was always very gentle and thorough. He made sure i was not released from the hospital until he was confidant I was ready. Great bedside manners as well.
Please find another surgeon. This man took out my gall bladder and knicked my liver leaving with bile spilling into my abdominal cavity for 4 days. I was completely septic by the time I made it make to the hospital. When I complained of pain after surgery I was treated like I was a drug seeker. I was in the hospital for another week and had to have 2 more procedures done by another physician to recover. I was flat on my back for 2 months post op.
