Joy is the best! I got a referral from my doctor for pelvic floor therapy and was initially referred to another company who could not schedule me for 5 weeks! That was longer than I was willing to wait for an appointment so my doctor switched me over to The Physical Therapy Place. I got a call from Joy the next day after the referral was received and I was in their office for my first appointment within a week. Joy has been amazing for our family to work with! She really listens and never doubts your pain experiences! She works with you to figure out practical ways you can build PT strategies and activities into your daily routines. She is very patient and warm. She genuinely cares about helping her patients feel better. She takes the time to explain why you are hurting and how the exercises will help. Would recommend 1000%.
24 years ago I had major double jaw surgery. It gave me tmd when I didn’t have tmd, my jaw lost feeling in the lower lip and chin area and I had to give up playing and consistently limit practicing my instruments despite pursuing a music education and performance career.
