Had a great experience! Rented kayaks for a hour with a friend. It was a particularly windy day, and both people we dealt with were careful to make sure we had the experience required to paddle in those conditions. Friendly. Efficient getting the boats to the water for us. And it’s only $15 for an hour! What a great way to spend my money.
John is a true steward of the Farmington River. He's always looking out for what's best for the river. I love his store, too.
I've been a regular customer of Collinsville Canoe & Kayak for years. The reason? Every time I go there I have a great time! They have the best paddling equipment, a beautiful location for kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoeing, and most importantly, amazing customer service. Every staff member makes sure you feel you're part of the family. Whether you're from the area or visiting from far, a stop at Collinsville Canoe and Kayak is a must. 5 stars!
Great service. Friendly staff. All around great time.
First time coming here with my boys and we absolutely loved it. We took paddle boards out for 1 hr but would highly recommend getting them for the day. We went all the way to the rope swing and back with just enough time. The water is clear, cool and refreshing. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to return!!!!!

My family loves it here. Great owner and management. My daughter does the kayak camp and absolutely loves it. 5 *. Everyone should come rent from them and experience the beautiful Farmington river.
