0 Star : My Experience The vehicle still has prior damage, which is not your responsibility to repair, but per State Farm, should have been reported because it affects the value of the vehicle and would have lowered the “total loss threshold”. So $10,900 was spent on a vehicle that is not worth a penny of $8000. As I stated previously, I would have much rather taken a check for $8000, $9000 or especially $10,900 and hauled the car to the junk yard.
