Worked with Melinda Taylor. Met her at the very end. Horrible experience. If you are in Columbia, find another attorney. They will charge you for travel from NC because the attorneys aren't all local (close to $500 just for travel and mileage). Super disappointed. I was charged $70 for a 5 minute phone call. I have worked with attorneys in the past that were straight forward and honest, this is not it.
Paid thousands and thousands of dollars to a lawyer who didn’t follow up on anything and allowed my case to get strung along much longer than it should have. Worse part is I haven’t gotten anything accomplished in the process. Paid $3000 for mediation that she never followed up on to get it signed by the other party. Then was billed another $3700 worth of hours to file a contempt case that I still don’t have to court case for.
