I went to Dr. Collins with an ongoing problem of several months. He asked many questions and carefully listened. I did not feel rushed. I felt that he was very experienced and had a great bedside manner. I underwent an endoscopy with him, and all went well. I appreciate that he carefully weighs the benefits of a procedure with possible adverse side effects.
Dr. Collins has a TERRIBLE bedside manner. After several procedures and being in excruciating pain I was given a diagnosis. I was so excited! The dr refused to prescribe me medicine and his nurse simply told me to eat small meals and avoid leafy green vegetables... he also misread a CT scan of mine which led me to panic and I spend an entire day in the ER only to find out that this GI had misread my results and my kidneys were fine. I have now spent a day in the ER, am still in severe pain, and have a $300 ER bill to pay. Av... read more
