In Feb my son was taken here after a snow boarding accident. We are in Toronto and his wife called us frantically as she doesn't drive I had to stay home as wasnt room for me in the van but my husband went with her and I called ahead to check on him so upset on hearing that they'd not tell his wife much by phone. Would be delightful to go to the collingwood hospital and be out in less then 5 hours it's always short staffed and they are so rude
Just had my baby here, most of the nurses were amazing, all the nurses, the OB (Dr. Zimmerman) and midwives in the OR for my c section were all amazing and super nice. My recovery nurse was amazing and attentive. Most of my nurses in the obstetrics unit were very sweet, supportive and helpful, Ashley is amazing and super nice. There were two that rubbed me the wrong way and almost made me feel like I couldn’t leave when my OB gave me the OK to go home. Triage staff were helpful and friendly had blood work then waiting for an Xray for abdominal pain my entire wait time was 7 hrs and I could see i wasn't going to be seen to initiate Xray till doctor signed off could have been there much longer before Dr arrived iam a diabetic and to go 7 hrs is to long Shortages Next time I will go to Stephenson Memorial you are seen once you go in emergency last time I had a bowel blockage i could of died if I had to wait 7 hrs for a doctor to see me
Worst hospital experience I ever had. Wait time was 5 hours but patients came in after me and got checked up in a few minutes. I came in at 4 and it’s 10pm and I’m Still here. Worst possible service too they misplaced my chart and I had to sit there in pain without any painkillers just watching people who came after me get checked and sent home. The doctor does his diagnosis using chat gpt which I overheard, this is why he always asks if he can use his phone to take notes. Terrible experience if your in pain and want treatme... read more
