My son just got out of this facility last week. He was there for 13 days. Special needs autistic and intellectual disability. There was one tech named Ron who was very mean to him. Some of the staff definitely need training in autism. The communication is poor. The doctors waited 10 days to adjust my son’s medications when he was being combative with staff from day 1. Doctors LIE to patients here, they withhold basic hygiene needs for over 36 hours, and are extremely disorganized. I watched someone escape when I first visited my family here. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE MONEY. If you are considering voluntarily seeking help, they will force you to stay.

Collin Springs is the living proof of why the American healthcare system fails. We are simply seeking improvement, and we acknowledge that we placed our trust in Collin Springs. We were wrong to believe that help would arrive and that we would be in touch with the patient, as the facility staff had assured us. Allow me to share with you the issues we encountered: ineffective communication, long waiting time, and deficient service. Staff members did not know what was happening in the facility. For example, I had a lady let us... read more
