Collin Park Marina used to be a safe fun place for boaters unfortunately a few bad apples are making it dangerous. I’ve rented a slip there for over fifteen years. Yesterday I was threatened with being beat down by a fisherman that had a chair blocking the walkway that refused to move. This by the way is a class c misdemeanor in Texas, the threat of violence. Needs to be cleaned up. I have a slip at the marina, and I have never seen so many spiders. The park itself is nasty and not well maintained. There is no 24/7 gas, you have to wait until 10am when they open to fill up, and hope its not Wednesday as they are closed all day. I would't dare use their bathrooms. On top of this they charge $3 per person and $3 per car. If you just go 30 min down the road to bayside, you can get a much nicer entry for free at a much better lake of Ray Hubbard.
